Feb 04, 2015 Does anyone know a really good Good Raid Controller card that will work with the server model ML350 G6? I currently have the P410i version but I noticed the little gotcha from Hp. The RAID Controller card can only See 6Gbs for SAS Drives and 3Gbs for SATA drives.
I had a very similair issue, but the real issue was that my server model is ProLiant DL20 Gen9 but the actually raid card is i140 model, which I never noticed. So the wrong files I was using: hpvsa-1.2.14-100, which downloadable from a page specified for B120i and B320i. Which I guess they meant the raid model and not the server model. Hp Proliant Ml350 Specs
Hi,
I'm attempting installation of High Sierra on a HP ML350 G6 server with a Gigabyte 960 video card installed and BIOS is set to default to this which is working. My installer USB boots and gets as far as the Apple logo but does not show a progress bar. That's it. I have loaded BIOS defaults, disabled VT-d and disabled serial ports but can't find other settings such as CFG-Lock, Secure Boot mode or XHCI handoff. I have SATA drives connected to the P410i RAID controller as well as the standard SATA controller. I have changed the boot controller between RAID and standard SATA. A bit new to this process although comfortable with hardware and Mac OS. Any advice would be appreciated. John Comments are closed.
